Tepat pada bulan ini, band pop-punk asal Boston, Massachusetts, US, Boys Like Girls merayakan sepuluh tahun kesuksesan album terbaik yang pernah mereka buat “BOYS LIKE GIRLS” self-titled yang telah dirilis pada tahun 2006.
Boys Like Girls yang saat ini beranggotakan Martin Johnson, Paul DiGiovanni, Morgan Dorr dan John Keefe menuliskan sebuah pesan terima kasih kepada fans yang telah mendukung mereka selama ini, seakan-akan, ini adalah sebuah perpisahan. Tapi, pada bagian akhir tulisan yang dibuat di fans page mereka tertulis: “Dan itu belum berakhir…”
These past three weeks have created enough memories to last for years to come. From Boston to Santa Ana, and every stop in between, we want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who came. Whether it was your first BLG show, your 10th, or if you were one of the beautiful handful who followed the entire tour, not a moment will be forgotten. None of us had any idea what to expect 10 years ago today when we released our Self-Titled album. Thank you for lending your voices singing in the crowd. Thank you for sharing your stories and memories before and after the shows. Thank you for making it clear once again how special a journey we have all been a part of. And it isn’t over yet…

Boys Like Girls terbentuk tahun 2005, telah merilis 3 album studio: Boys Like Girls 2006, Love Drunk 2009, dan Crazy World 2012.
