Tidak ada kontroversi lagi seperti sebelumnya, sebab di music video terbaru “Avalanche”, Bring Me The Horizon menampilkan live performance mereka diatas panggung dengan beberapa scene sebuah jalan dan antusiasnya penonton.
Avalanche merupakan salah satu track yang ada di album That’s The Spirit (2015). Sebelumnya, BMTH telah merilis videoklip untuk Throne, True Friends, dan yang paling mencuri perhatian Follow You.
Video Avalanche menampilkan sebagian besar saat Oli Sykes cs konser di London’s Royal Albert Hall beberapa bulan yang lalu. Dokumentasi ini meruapakan hasil filming dan editing pertama oleh Tom Sykes, tak lain adalah saudara kandung sang vokalis Oliver Sykes.
“This is the first time we’ve worked on filming and editing the whole project,” kata Tom “Having creative control over every aspect from start to finish was great, it was a lot of work, but extremely rewarding! We enjoyed working on it together so much that we’ve decided to start a collaborative company called Fun Blood so we can work on projects together in the future.”
Lagu Avalanche mengisahkan tentang pengidap ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) dan ingin berobat karena telah kecanduan ketamine.
“Avalanche” is about ADHD. I guess it’s weird when you’re 25-26 and your doctor tells your brain is missing something. It’s got like a missing link I guess. But at the same time it was a huge release to discover and a massive step in my recovery to find out a huge part of my addiction was self-medicating.
