The following list of 10, rarely does you come across in popular music news. Because of some of the band’s songs, perhaps less so familiar. Unless you are really a fan of alternative music.
Of the many sad songs in the world, I did not include the songs that are already well known such famous song “Dear God” from Avenged Sevenfold, “Wake Me Up When September End” from Greenday, or songs that have no need to share anymore.
I will give a list of the saddest rock songs top 10 (male vocalist). The following song with lyrics is not only sad but just by hearing the tempo, melody or music alone, we will immediately be hypnotized by sorrow. And certainly, from the 2000s until now, quite modern.
Faber Drive – When I’m With You
The song is very dramatic, in a video clip, When I’m With You tells the story of an accident that injured two people lover, a dying man in the hospital and the woman who took part in the car actually died.

Simple Plan – Untitled
Although the song is also quite old, simple plan actually has a lot of sad songs. But this song, I think is the saddest song they’ve ever made. A story of a rage on yourself.

This song tells a story about someone who doesn’t want to be abandoned. Maybe from the lyrics are not so depressing, but this song has a very upset.

My Chemical Romance – Cancer
This song is very sad, he lost somebody caused by cancer. Now, he was also the patient, and he just waiting to die.

One Ok Rock – Pierce
Yes, this band from Japan is famous by hard rock genre, post-hardcore, but on the sidelines of a lot of hard songs, One Ok Rock ever made a very sad song. This song is very touching, tells about a regret and want to get love back.
I do not know what I can do, we can not be true.

Snow Patrol – Chasing Cars

This song is enough to make listeners cry, that is very slow, however, the meaning of the lyrics is not as sad as one might you imagine. This is not depression song, this song actually written with words that are brilliant.
